Guest Information for a Pleasant Stay

To ensure all guests enjoy their time at our winery estate, we kindly ask you to observe the following:

• Arrive & Relax: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM. To ensure we can prepare the 220 m² loft to our high standards for you, we kindly ask for a check-out by 11:00 AM.
• Smoke-Free Living: The entire apartment is non-smoking. The best place for a cigarette is outdoors in the fresh air, with a view of the historic Winzergasse.
• Peace & Consideration: We love the social atmosphere of our winery; however, we kindly ask you to refrain from hosting loud parties. This helps us maintain a good relationship with our neighbors on the estate.
• Careful Use: We have chosen the interior of WeinZeit 4 with great attention to detail. Please treat the furniture and the fireplace with care, as if it were your own home.
• Sustainability: The Palatinate loves its nature. Help us protect the environment by carefully separating your waste.
  

The holiday apartment WeinZeit4 is idyllically situated yet easily accessible in the picturesque "Muskateller Village" of Gleiszellen-Gleishorbach – the perfect starting point for discovery tours along the Southern Wine Route and into the neighboring Alsace region.

Arriving by Car: You can easily reach us via the A65 motorway (Exit: Landau-Süd/Bad Bergzabern). From there, the federal highway leads you directly into the gentle vineyard landscapes of the Southern Palatinate. Cities such as Landau, Speyer, or Karlsruhe, as well as the French town of Wissembourg, are only a short drive away. Free public parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the property.

Arriving by Train & Bus: For guests arriving by public transport, Bad Bergzabern station (approx. 5 km away) is the ideal hub. From there, regular bus connections (Line 540) run directly to Gleiszellen. Alternatively, you can take a short taxi ride to arrive at our doorstep relaxed and stress-free.

For Nature & Cycling Enthusiasts: WeinZeit4 is located directly on a network of first-class cycling and hiking trails, such as the famous Muskateller Circular Trail or various routes through the Palatinate Forest. You can start your adventure right outside your front door! Whether by car, bike, or public transport – WeinZeit4 offers the perfect balance between a quiet retreat and excellent connections to the highlights of the region!

The holiday apartment is located at Winzergasse 4 in the idyllic village of Gleiszellen-Gleishorbach, right in the heart of the historic "Muskateller Village." You will be staying in one of the most beautiful alleys in the Palatinate, surrounded by magnificent half-timbered houses and directly connected to the tradition-rich Stiftsweingut Frank Meyer winery.

Shopping & Daily Needs

• Bäckerei Burkard (Weinstraße 35, 76889 Klingenmünster): Reachable in about 3 minutes by car. Perfect for getting fresh bread and pastries for your breakfast.
• Supermarkets in Bad Bergzabern (approx. 5–7 mins drive): In the neighboring spa town, you will find everything for your daily needs:
• REWE (Marktplatz 3-5)
• Lidl & Aldi (Landauer Straße)
• Wasgau (Landauer Str. 20)

Gastronomy (Right on your doorstep)

Since you are staying directly in the Winzergasse, some of the best culinary spots in the region are within walking distance:

• Gasthof „Zum Engel“ (Winzergasse 1): Almost right next door. An absolute must! Famous for the best Pfälzer Dampfnudeln (steamed dumplings) in the region and excellent local cuisine.
• Winzerstube „Zum Muskateller“ (Winzergasse 17): Just a few steps up the alley. Enjoy Palatinate specialties in one of the most historic half-timbered houses in the village.
• S'Rebehäusel (Winzergasse 22): A seasonal wine tavern with a dreamlike terrace right by the vineyards – ideal for a glass of wine at sunset.
• Stiftsgut Keysermühle (Klosterstraße 1, 76889 Klingenmünster): Located in the next village. Fine, sustainable cuisine in a beautiful park setting.

• The Winzergasse: You are living in a historic monument! The alley itself, with its half-timbered houses and floral displays, is one of the region's main attractions.
• Landeck Castle (Klingenmünster): This impressive castle ruin is just a few minutes away. From the top, you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view over the Rhine valley all the way to the Black Forest.
• Wissembourg (Alsace, France): In just about 15 minutes, you can be in France. The romantic old town of Wissembourg is perfect for a stroll and enjoying French pâtisserie.
• German Wine Gate (Schweigen-Rechtenbach): A monumental landmark marking the southern start of the German Wine Route.

• Muskateller Circular Trail: This hiking trail starts practically at your front door. It leads through the vineyards around Gleiszellen and offers fantastic viewpoints.
